Tours
Guided Tours
Schedule a group tour of the Cameron Art Museum by contacting Georgia Mastroieni, Director of Youth and Family Education, at 910.395.5999 ext. 1019 or email georgia@cameronartmuseum.com. Tour reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance with a $20 deposit towards the cost of the tour. Please give at least 48 hours notice for cancellations in order to qualify for a full deposit refund.
Please provide the following information when reserving your tour:
- Type of tour you are requesting (see below for options and pricing)
- Contact person, phone number and email address
- Number of people in your party
- Age range
- Two dates and times that you would like for your tour
- Any special requests regarding your tour (duration, specific focus, etc.)
- Number of chaperones (for children 12 and under, 1 chaperone per 5 students is admitted free of charge. For children over 12, I chaperone per 10 students is admitted free of charge.)
Student Tours
Pre-K – Middle School: $3 per student
High School – College: $5 per student
CAM and Art Tours
Following a guided tour, you can enhance the museum experience through exhibition-inspired, hands-on activities. The museum will be happy to work with you to connect the tour and a follow-up project with your interests or curriculum. $8 per student.
CAM and Clay Studio Tours
Take a guided tour of the museum followed by a tour of the Pancoe Art Education Center. Meet our master artist-in-residence Hiroshi Sueyoshi, explore the clay studio and watch pottery wheel demonstrations. These tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Due to space limitations in the clay studio, groups must be limited to 15 people. Arrangements for successive visits can be arranged for larger groups. $8 per student.
Adult Tours
Groups of 15 or less: $50 / group
Groups of 16 to 30: $100 / group
Groups over 30: Call for pricing and availability
(Group tours will pay as group, not individually.)
